'Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat' isn't thought to be one of Andrew Lloyd Webber's big musicals, but catch the fizzy, fun concoction of it newly at La Mirada Theatre and, you start to wonder, why not? OK, Webber's first professionally produced show didn't go on to win any Tony Awards. There are no felines yowling about midnight nor a chandelier crashing. And if you first encountered this in a high school production it was likely more an experience of youthful energy than memorable singing or dancing.
